Enrollment Process for Discovery Charter Schools

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our Discovery Charter Schools. Our schools are a tuition-free, TK to 8 public charter school focused on academic excellence, whole-child development, and strong family partnerships. Discovery Charter Schools are authorized by the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) and accept students from across California. There are no tuition fees or entrance exams.

Discovery Charter Schools has two campuses in San Jose, California. The Phoenix campus serves TK-8 students in West San Jose. The Falcon campus serves TK-8 students in South San Jose and has a hybrid Homeschool program.

Fall admissions to Discovery Charter Schools is determined through a lottery system. All families who complete the enrollment requirements by the spring are entered into the open enrollment lottery for the following fall school year.

For mid-year transfers, we accept applications on a rolling basis.

Please apply to the Phoenix Campus, Falcon Campus, or to both.
